Week 11 kicked off with a Super Bowl 51 rematch, albeit without the historic comeback or drama.

As for the 28 other teams scheduled to play this week, COVID-19 continues to strike down key players and other devastating injuries have Injured Reserves filling up fast.

As for the guys who are still on active rosters, here is what happened in practice this week and how it affects this weekend's action:

– It has been an abysmal year for Chase Young, but he will be out for the rest of the season after tearing his ACL against the Bucs on Sunday. The reigning Defensive Rookie of the Year has just 1.5 sacks and his 23 pressures rank fourth on his own team.

The Washington pass rush was already hurting with Montez Sweat sidelined by a broken jaw.

Casey Toohill and James Smith-Williams are the next two guys up on the depth chart. They each have just one sack on the season.

– The depleted Washington pass rush is welcome news for a Panthers team with three starting offensive linemen on the IR. Carolina ranks 27th in ESPN's pass-block win rate this season.

However, last week against Arizona, the Panthers allowed just one quarterback hit and four pressures with P.J. Walker and Cam Newton under center.

Flacco spent 2020 with the Jets, but was with the Eagles until he was traded before the deadline a couple weeks ago. He completed all three of his attempts against Buffalo last week for 47 yards.

Last year, Flacco completed a career-low 55.2 percent of his pass attempts and averaged 6.4 yards per attempt in five starts for the Jets.

Ingram is averaging just four yards per carry in his three games since rejoining the Saints, but he's been an effective receiver, catching 11 of his 14 targets for 107 yards.

– The Saints will play on Sunday with both of their starting tackles on the bench. Terron Armstead is out for the second-straight week and Ryan Ramczyk is out for just the second time in his five-year NFL career.

James Hurst will keep playing at left tackle while rookie Landon Young will get his first career start at right tackle. Young was a sixth-round pick out of Kentucky in April's draft.

– Running back Miles Sanders is eligible to come off the IR this week, but Nick Sirianni didn't commit to his availability this week. The head coach did tell reporters Sanders will be the starting running back whenever he returns.

Since he went down with an ankle injury, the Eagles have boasted the NFL's top rushing attack, averaging over 200 yards per game in their last three contests.

Rhodes will rotate into the game at some point, according to Frank Reich. The veteran is allowed 11.2 yards per target and a passer rating of 122.7 this season.

– Elsewhere, Marquise Brown participated in Friday's practice, which is a good sign as he deals with a thigh injury. Brown did miss a substantial amount of time in training camp due to a hamstring injury, but it's unclear if this injury is related.

The good news is Rashod Bateman was back at practice on Friday and will play after experiencing illness on Thursday.

Gary actually leads Green Bay in sacks and pressures this year. Smith is third in both categories, behind Gary and Kenny Clark.

Aaron Jones is also out after injuring his MCL last week against the Seahawks. A.J. Dillon will be the lead back after scoring a pair of touchdowns in Week 10. He's averaged 4.3 yards per carry this season.

Geoff Swaim's absence means MyCole Pruitt will start at tight end. Pruitt has already set career-highs in catches (11), receiving yards (129) and touchdowns (3).

– Defensively, the Titans are down three starting linebackers with David Long Jr., Rashaan Evans and Bud Dupree all out. Veteran Jayon Brown and rookie Monty Rice will start in the middle for the second-straight week.

When McCoy got injured last week, it seemed like he wasn't in danger of missing any time, so he'd still be the favorite to start this week, but Chris Streveler is the third-stringer.

Streveler is a former CFL backup who ran for over 1100 yards and 22 touchdowns in his time up north. He threw 19 TDs and 19 interceptions as well.

Tsuzka has just one quarterback pressure on 31 attempts and Charlton is still looking for his first after 20 pass rushes this season. The Steelers did have Melvin Ingram III earlier this season, but he was traded two weeks ago to Kansas City for a sixth-round draft pick.

– No Kevin Dotson at left guard means J.C. Hassenauer will get his first start of the season after playing just 12 snaps prior to last week.

The second-year undrafted free agent from Alabama did make four starts during his rookie campaign, three of which came at left guard. He has never allowed a sack in 256 pass-blocking snaps.
